Project Overview:
Banda Aceh has been severely affected by many natural crises in the past decade including the Tsunami disaster in December 2004. This has resulted in the destruction of most of the infrastructure including schools. ROTA committed both funds and effort to increasing access to quality education in the remote village of Lamreh.
Description:
Project includes fully furnishing and equipping a Learning centre giving the students access to over 1,500 books and the opportunity to participate in after-school activities. The project aims to encourage reading, enhance the computers skills of the students and provide them with an internet connection and the centre will be used to conduct trainings for teachers and students.
