ROTA 3rd Gala Dinner, held on the 31st of October 2009, received an unprecedented response from donors, sponsors, global philanthropists and celebrities, with all 480 seats for the event being sold out, a week in advance.  The Dinner and extraordinary charity auction, held at Qatar’s iconic Museum of Islamic Art, the auction efforts have raised over $9 million, with total fundraising efforts reaching $20 million.

 Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) announced that Vodafone have come on board as the main sponsor of the 3rd ROTA Gala Dinner. The Dinner and an extraordinary auction will take place on the 31st of October at the Museum of Islamic Art, under the auspices of The Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani. His Highness the Emir and his consort Her Highness Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned will attend the event.

Reach Out To Asia delivers Iftar Meals during Ramadan

Summary: 
Reach Out To Asia (ROTA), as part of its ongoing Ramadan Program, continues with the distribution of hot Iftar meals to support families within the local community. A total of 15 families have been identified to benefit from this initiative. Each family receives 10 Iftar meals over 12 days spanning the entire month of Ramadan.

ROTA Organized Iftar with Dhreima Children

Summary: 
ROTA called its volunteers back last week into a real moment of giving and sharing with Dhreima Qatar Orphan Foundation children a special Iftar event. The Iftar, which was held at Qatar Foundation sponsored by an anonymous donor, and was attended by ROTA officials and volunteers from Jaidah Group, ROTA's Associate Partner.

ROTA Organizes Volunteer Trip to Cambodia

Summary: 

The trip, being held in partnership with Education City, will last seven days (March 19-25) and it is another effort to enhance access to quality education in Cambodia - one of ROTA's priority countries - by removing barriers for school-going children.
