ROTA Board Meeting Approves Progress

The latest meeting of the Board of Directors of Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) took place yesterday (Thursday 4 November) at the organization's Education City headquarters under the supervision of Chairperson Her Excellency Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani.

The latest meeting of the Board of Directors of Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) took place yesterday (Thursday 4 November) at the organization's Education City headquarters under the supervision of Chairperson Her Excellency Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani.

The ROTA Board of Directors comprises leading figures from the fields of education, community development and humanitarian missions. Joining HE Sheikha Aisha bint Faleh Al-Thani, Mr Sanjay Hinduja, Mrs. Raghdaa Mahmoud, Mrs. Nora Joumblatt and Acting Director Mr. Essa Al-Mannai.

Speaking after the meeting, ROTA board member Sheikha Aisha bint faleh Al Thani said: "Over the past 5 years we have established a wide range of educational development projects and programs to support countries affected by crisis, both those affected by human-made and natural disasters. We are delighted with the progress achieved in Asia, the Middle East and here in Qatar". 

The ROTA Board meets to discuss the strategy and management of the global campaign. During the meeting the workplan for 2011 was agreed, several key decisions were taken and Acting Director Essa Al Mannai made an executive presentation showing latest progression of ROTA key projects.

"ROTA believes that access to quality educational opportunities is crucial for all children and young people as it brings with it the ability to communicate and collaborate - vital skills in creating successful communities across the world," Said Noura Joumbolat ROTA Board member.
